The lab prioritizes equality and inclusion. We're firmly committed to maintaining an intellectual climate that's welcoming of students from all backgrounds. We value the full spectrum of human diversity in race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, socioeconomic status, body type, age, political orientation, disability, national origin, sexual orientation, and religion. Together, we aim to create an environment of mutual respect and support.

Graduate Students

Andy is likely to admit at least one new graduate student for Fall 2021 (Fall 2020 application cycle). More information about the application procedure can be found here. To keep the admissions process fair for everyone, Andy won't be having extended conversations with prospective students in advance of reading all applications. Interested students should explore this website for the types of research lab members are currently conducting.

Undergraduate Research Assistants

We seek highly motivated and reliable undergraduate students to assist in the lab during fall, winter, and spring quarters. Requirements include a GPA of at least 3.2, an interest in the research topics the lab is investigating, and a strong attention to detail. If you're interested in joining the lab, please e-mail Prof. Todd for an application.
